HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Kushanoa Sasanians are also referring as Kushanshas, they belong to the branch of Sasanian. The Kushanshah was the title of the ruler of the Kushanoa Sasanians kingdom. They were the part of the former Kushan Empire in the area of Sogdiana, Bactria, and Gandhara, named Kushanshahr and held by the Sasanian Empire. The Kushano Sasanians established their rule in Bactria and the northwestern part of the Indian subcontinent during the 3rd and 4th century at the expense of the declining Kushans. This copper drachm that weighs around  3.82 gm was issued by king Kobad during his rule in the Kushano Sasanians Kingdom.
